An Afternoon of Generosity: Rachael Bell Wealth Management Fundraising Event at Carlisle Racecourse

We are thrilled to share the success of a recent fundraising event organized by Rachael Bell Wealth Management at the Carlisle Racecourse. We extend our gratitude to Pam for this kind invitation. This incredible evening combined the excitement of horse racing with the spirit of giving, and we are immensely grateful to have been the beneficiary of this event.

The event kicked off with a welcoming speech from our team, highlighting the crucial work we do to support young people facing homelessness. Following this, we were invited to join the generous attendees for a delightful meal, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose.

Throughout the night, proceeds from betting were dedicated to our charity, and attendees had the opportunity to pledge additional funds. The atmosphere was electric with support and goodwill, and by the end of the night, an astounding £7,786.88 was raised. In a further act of generosity, we were delighted to learn that the charitable foundation St James's Place will be matching this amount, doubling the impact of the evening's efforts.

In these uncertain times for charities, such support is invaluable. The funds raised will directly contribute to our ongoing efforts to provide a safe drop-in center, counselling and supported accommodation for 11 young people, ensuring they have a secure place to call home and access to our amazing team of staff.
